PRAIRIE POPS REDUX
Jeffery has taken his \”pandemic piano tour\” to small settings and backyards around Saskatchewan + Alberta throughout the summer. Audiences have been welcoming and enthusiastic, full of emotion and generous in their response to the music & stories. And they\’ve given him an awful lot of homemade pie along the way… A musical partnership with the Regina Symphony Orchestra is now bringing 4 special orchestral covid-concerts to listeners in Regina\’s beautiful \”Holy Rosary Cathedral\” (13th Ave and Garnet St). \”Prairie Pops Redux\” is a series of 4 shows: Oct 22, 23, 24 (730pm) and an Oct 24 2pm matinee. Concerts are 1 hr with no intermission, with general admission (first come, first seated). Gordon Gerrard will be conducting. Jeffery\’s songs arranged for orchestra and performed in the cathedral with the talented RSO players can be the perfect pandemic escape. Songs will include: Birch Bark Canoe, the Wonderful Mrs Bell, 1000 Miles away, Beauty in the Grey and more. Find ticketing info on the concert calendar on this website.
