I\’m excited to be the winner of the Vina del Mar international song competition this year! After a week of performances in Chile at the 20,000 seat Quinta Vergara Amphitheatre in Vina the judges awarded me with the beautiful silver seagull trophy and a cash prize on Feb 27th. The competition was broadcast to the spanish speaking world (about 100,000,000 people) and it\’s pretty mind-boggling to see the new interest in my music on-line. I\’ll be heading back to south america for shows this year as result. I absolutely loved Chile and the people down there and can\’t wait to get back.
