WOW - we had a great time at Cafe Vivant in Saskatoon on Friday night (26th) with the place packed and an excellent audience all around! I’m still in awe of Shannon (the owner) and her ability to kick over her head - long story on how that transpired…. ;-)
Sat night (27th) we hit the Cathedral Arts Festival in Regina - and we totally enjoyed doing our show!! - thanks to all in attendance - You were a great bunch. Saskatoon!! Great first night

Well Saskatoon has been good to us so far! thanks to the Star Phoenix for plugging the shows so well in the Thurs paper - and to all the people who turned up at the gig at McNally’s - what a treat to see everyone. And what an excellent space. Thanks Ian an McNally’s for being a GREAT host! Tomorrow we do a 2pm interview on CFCR and then a show at Cafe Vivant (with Jill on backing vocals) before moving onto Regina for the Cathedral Arts Festival (with Rob and Cal on bass and drums). New York Showcase coming up on June 9th… wish me luck

OUTmusic award Nomination & New York Debut

My latest CD release has been nominated for an OUTmusic award in the category of OUTSTANDING NEW RECORDING - MALE. Awards take place on June 11th at New York’s Knitting Factory. As part of the nomination I’ll be showcasing in New York City that weekend as part of the OMA festival (my NYC debut!!). I’m up against some tough competition - so cross your fingers!
